Colored Hair Extensions…do I dare?

Last time I was at the beauty parlor, getting highlights, the gal next to me was getting streaks of fun color put into her hair. It was a super long process. The colorist had to bleach the strands really light and then apply the new purple color. Not only was it a lot of trouble, it was expensive and permanent.

But it looked fun. I thought maybe if I were younger. . .

Then I realized I was being self-ageist and slapped myself silly: Mare who says you can’t have a little fun, too?

So I went onto Amazon — and bought a 12-pack of colored clip-in hair extensions. There so many variations to choose from. Another concept is to choose just one color. Melinda sometimes pops in a pale pink series of clip-ins to add to her silver locks. I went for the selection with lots of bold colors. And, at these prices you can buy a couple to play around with. If you find a color that just doesn’t work for you? Share it with a friend! Application is soooo easy…

Add a pop of color to your hair . . .fun!

All you do is clip the extension in underneath your hair wherever and then snip to desired length. For under a dollar, I can add a little pop of color to my hair (to match different outfits), just for fun.

You are never too old to add a little pop of fun to your look . . .
