Because fitting in my clothes is fun, I am always surfing the Internet for new ways to stay healthy and slim, and kept coming across this almost ridiculous claim “Reduce Belly Fat with Vinegar” on Pinterest and YouTube. One tablespoon each morning is all it takes.
According to the research, the acetic acid in vinegar helps the body suppress fat and even reduce the fat that’s there!
About a month ago (and as a New Year’s Resolution), I decided to put the lose belly fat claim to the test. I placed a bottle of vinegar in my bathroom, along with a measuring spoon, then added “Shot of Vinegar” to my iPhone’s daily calendar with pop-up reminders. Btw, I like the taste of white wine vinegar better than apple cider vinegar. But, the cloudy ”Mother” in Apple Cider Vinegar is apparently key to the claim’s success.
While I haven’t noticed a difference in literal weight loss, I can say that my waistband feels looser.
Yowzer! It seems to be working, so I’m sticking with it. Just be sure to dilute the vinegar in some water and brush your teeth to protect your enamel. I find this is one of those Daily Rituals that really pays off.
