Want to include a bit of fashionista trendiness to your home decor without breaking the bank? Here’s an inexpensive, on-trend idea that’s a faux fur take on shabby chic. I use it when staging homes to add a bit of pizazz to marketing photos.

I purchased this small, inexpensive faux sheepskin fur throw rug to cover dirt and damage on sofas or add fashion to outdated chair cushions. Faux is fun, but of course, you can go real.

Faux fur adds glamour
Add a bit of furry glamour!

It’s super versatile. When home staging, I can change it around, putting it in various rooms, to add a little glam and furry fun to a boring bathroom or sitting area. Plus, it’s an easy fun DIY fix — all you have to do is throw it on!

Not only do these faux fur rugs trend up your space, they also feel soft and cozy and make me smile.

Decorating with a pop of fur is currently all the rage with teens, but who says we can’t join in on fun home decor trends?

You are never too old to be a faux fur fashionista . . .
